It will be at least six weeks until we do as much school work in one day as we did today. Nadia did spelling, art, handwriting, reading (finished another Grandma's Attic book), and piano today. We'll be at co-op longer than usual tomorrow because we're having a potluck lunch and then an assembly after the three hours of classes, and Friday we'll be going to yard sales in addition to gym class. We also had a bit of science today because we released our ladybugs. Nadia gave each one a name before she released them.
Oliver didn't take a nap today, which was unfortunate timing because the homeschool assembly by the Box of Light studio in Bloomsburg tomorrow will take place during his usual nap time. The program will be about how special effects are made for television and movies. The upside of him not napping was that we were able to spend more time at the playground. Nadia asked to walk to one farther than we usually go, so we got a little more exercise today. Puggles was cancelled tonight at church so Oliver stayed home with Paul, which meant he was able to go to bed at the usual time tonight, whereas normally he goes to bed 45 minutes later than usual on Wednesday nights. Nadia and Ian will miss the last three weeks of AWANA. Tonight was their last night until September. Presuming Puggles isn't cancelled again, Oliver will be going with me next week, and that will be his last night as a Puggle because he'll be in Cubbies in the fall.
