2022 Bucket List

Although things were definitely closer to normal in 2021 than they were in 2020, in 2022 we have continued to make even more strides back toward normal. Making future plans was a very precarious thing to attempt over the last two years, but I am feeling more optimistic at the moment that fewer things will be cancelled due to COVID. I've made a bucket list for several years each summer, but I thought this time I'd make one for all of 2022 instead. My bucket lists in the past have included some activities that were "firsts" for the kids or the whole family as well as some that weren't. This time around I'm only going to list things that would be "firsts" for us. If our trips this year go as planned, we will cross five states off the list - Georgia, Delaware, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, which will bring us down to just nine states left to visit! On that note, we're planning to visit Kansas, Arkansas, and Missouri during our spring break trip in April 2023; if that happens, we will only have six states left as of April 13, 2023. Our last six would be Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Louisianna, Hawaii, and Alaska. I'm sure over the course of the year things will be added to and deleted from this list, but hopefully I'll be able to write "Done" by most of them before 2022 comes to a close! Hiking at Worlds End State Park has been on previous lists but not been accomplished yet. Hopefully we can make it to that park sometime this year.
