Many Blessings

1. My mom came up for a visit this week

2. Paul's parents babysat Nadia on Friday

3. My mom babysat Nadia on Thursday

4. I was able to attend a ladies breakfast yesterday morning (my church does this once a month)
5. The grant meeting on Thursday was probably the last one (we started in September 2007)

6. I am going to a concert tonight with my friend, Cheri. I haven't seen her in 5 months, and I haven't been to a concert is well over a year. We are going for free. I finally get to use some of the free tickets from the radio station prize I won last April!

7. Last night we had dinner guests (two profs from my university plus one brought her spouse). I love playing games, and I usually only get to play any a couple of times a year. I enjoyed playing Taboo with them.

8. As a housewarming gift, one of the guests brought us 2 birdfeeders as well as seed and suet for the feeders. I am looking forward to using them and watching the birds while we're at our kitchen table. She also brought Nadia a cookbook for children as well as kid sized kitchen utensils (spatula, etc).

9. I love Nadia's Valentine's pictures from Sears that I picked up on Friday. :-)

10. My left wrist is 100% back to normal during the day, and the pain during the night (and when I first get up in the morning) has decreased significantly. PTL for the steroid shot!!!

11. Even though the bone "splinter" in my gum hasn't fallen out yet, it's not bothering me any more.

12. I was able to wear my jeans this week for the first time in over a year; they finally fit again!

13. I have one more week of class, and then it's spring break!

14. The Steelers won their 6th Superbowl. I know I need to stop including that in my list, but I am still very happy about it! :-)

15. I love to hear my sweet daughter's voice as she babbles away. I look forward to the day when "mama" is in her vocabulary like "dada" already is. :-)
