Today ended up being day #4 in a row of Ian only having one nap. He fell asleep in Paul's arms this morning (around 10am) but immediately woke up when Paul tried putting him down. So we've decided to stick with one nap a day. Today he cried for 50 minutes and then slept for 50 minutes. I hope that in the near future he stops crying for so long. The strange thing is that I put him down awake at night, and he cries for less than one minute. As for sleeping through the night, he's still waking up at least once during the night, but thankfully he cries for only a few seconds each time that he wakes up. One morning he didn't wake up until 6:25 (which meant he had slept for almost 11 hours), but most mornings he wakes up sometime between 5:25-5:45am (it was 5:25 today), which means he's usually getting 10 hours of sleep at night. I've been trying not to get him prior to 6:30 if possible.
Nadia is usually in her bed for a minimum of 2 hours, and it's often longer because she doesn't fall asleep right away. Today she was up by 2:30pm. If only she had woken up that early yesterday when it was 66 degrees out! I wasn't at all tempted to walk to the park today as it was a very cold and blustery day. It is February though. This weather is to be expected. Yesterday's was an unexpected blessing.
| Ian thinks this racetrack is a chair. He climbs in and sits in it all the time, lol! |
