We have experienced both the "lion" and "lamb" sides of March within the last two days. It was really cold yesterday and very, very windy. Most of the school districts around us had a two hour delay this morning, and one was closed (for 10 inches of snow). Our town escaped the snow. We just had some hail yesterday in the late afternoon. Fine by me! On the last day of March (today), it warmed up a LOT. Our high today was 61 degrees! We celebrated by spending 2.5 hours outside, and we plan to do the same tomorrow. It's a whole new experience for Oliver now that he can walk around the playground. I'm working on teaching him the boundaries (stay on the mulch) and other rules like only going down the slide feet first (on his belly or bottom). Last Monday it was in the 30's when Nadia had her soccer practice. It was much nicer this evening!
