turkey, did a turkey scavenger hunt around the museum, and petted two live turkeys (one male and one female). On our way home we stopped at a consignment shop which had everything 50% off today. I bought Nadia a pair of pants and got a Christmas gift for a nephew.
Today I am thankful....
1. That Paul came home from work a lot earlier than usual.
2. For the pizza we got at Papa Johns today in Bloomsburg using a gift card from credit card points.
3. That Home Depot offers these free workshops for kids. Pop Pop plans to take the boys to Home Depot and Lowe's next Saturday to do two workshops at the stores near them while Nadia and I go on a bus trip to Harrisburg.
4. For the programs the Children's Museum in Bloomsburg offers.
5. That the gasoline in our immediate area is usually much cheaper (right now almost 30 cents per gallon cheaper) than the gas in the towns that are 30-60 minutes from our home.
6. For Christmas music. They are playing it on the local Christian radio station (some of the time) now. I just LOVE Christmas music.
7. For the curriculum they are using with the children this year. It's by Answers in Genesis. Sometimes it seems to be a little too advanced for Oliver, but I am grateful for the sound doctrine that is being taught each Sunday morning.
8. Oliver has really been into doing puzzles lately, and he's making great progress. He can now do up to 100 piece puzzles.
