Pumpkins, Hayrides, and Corn Mazes, oh my!

My parents arrived at our house around 10am this morning. Nadia and Ian had fun playing with them before it was time for lunch and naps (for Ian and Oliver). Around 2:30 six of us (Paul stayed at home to work on job applications) left for a farm. We spent about 2 hours there, which included a hay ride to a pumpkin patch, feeding some animals, going down a really big slide three times, and going through two small corn mazes. We came home with 5 pumpkins. Aside from Oliver (who slept through the first 90 minutes and then I nursed him in the car), a good time was had by all! The list of places Paul is going to apply is now up to nine. The ninth one is in Maryland.

Over the past 65 days the longest stretch of sleep I've had has been 3 hours, and that's been really rare. Oliver gave me a wonderful gift last night in that he slept for five hours straight (11pm- 4am). Thank you SOOO much, Oliver!!!!

Looks like it was cold! We're still in shorts and t-shirts here. It doesn't seem possible that we are halfway through October until I look at other people's pictures and see that it's cold somewhere. :)
