Thankful Thursday

1. Paul has interviews and a teaching demonstration lined up for next Thursday afternoon with a community college in Kansas. I am grateful that Paul decided on Sunday that I could start applying to schools farther away. I did one more for Kentucky on Tuesday and another for West Virginia yesterday, which put the total at 74 thus far. Although we really don't want to move to Kansas, it's encouraging to have another interview. It seems as if they are going to make a decision as to whether or not to hire Paul without ever meeting him in person as he is scheduled to talk with the President, VP, Dean, search committee, etc. all by Skype.

2. The weather has been so nice this week. I vastly prefer the 70's to the 90's!!!

3. I have a wonderful husband and three precious children whom I love with all my being.

4. Oliver has had a cold for a week, and yesterday I started to see some signs of improvement. The NP said on Tuesday that his lungs were clear despite his cough. Oliver will be so glad when his nose completely stops running as he does NOT like having it wiped! I am also grateful that the rest of us are healthy.

5. Ian and Nadia are enjoying the musical and are doing a great job learning their Bible verses. Oliver and I attended a picnic at my choir director's house last night while they were at the rehearsal.
