1.75 years old!

In three short months Oliver will be two years old. I love watching him learn and grow, but I am grieving the end of my days as a mom with a baby. Here are some ways our sweet little guy has changed over the past month:

1. His rash has not shown up At All (it was very prevalent in January and February). Yay!

2. He weighs 25lbs 4oz, which puts him at the 27th percentile, and he currently weighs exactly one pound more than Ian did when he turned 21 months old.

3. He keeps adding new words, and although he occasionally says a sentence, most of the time he only says one word at a time. The words he says almost every day are mama, dada, hi, juice, bye bye, these, no, and ba ball (basketball). It was cute at the Grand Prix, he kept shouting "Go, Go, Go" during the car races.

4. He has become MUCH friendlier. He waves and says "hi" to anyone and everyone.

5. After his RSV hospitalization he was waking up at 5:45 most mornings, but we have gotten him back on track and now he usually wakes up between 6:45-7:00. One morning he slept until 8am, which meant he had slept for 12 hours straight!! His nap has been 60-80 minutes long most days. Sometimes he wakes up earlier than that, but he goes back to sleep very quickly.

6. Nebulizer treatments have become a part of his daily routine because the doctors think he has RAD (asthma). Hopefully these will help us avoid another hospitalization for RSV.

7. His desire to play outside has greatly increased. He loves being outdoors!

8. He likes to pick out what pjs to wear at night and what shirt to wear during the day. His favorite shirt is the LarryBoy one I got him for Christmas.
