Oliver woke up at 5:51, but he went back to sleep. Ian was up at 6:45, Oliver woke up again at 6:55, and Nadia got up at 7:15. Around 9:00 we headed back to the pool with the big water slide. Ian is about one inch too short to go down it. Last year Nadia went down it with her inner tube; this year she goes down it without any flotation devices. We stayed for two hours and then came back to our unit for lunch. After lunch we headed to the pool with the pirate ship (that has four small water slides). They had live Caribbean steel drum music for about three hours in the afternoon.
We started trying to have children in May 2002. After pursuing fertility treatments, domestic, and international adoption, our daughter Nadia Renee was born on 6-24-08 (at 36w4d). IVF #2 resulted in Ian Alexander, who was born on 12-12-09 (at 34w3d). Oliver Elliot (IVF #3) was born on 8-7-12 (at 31w6d)! Three other pregnancies (in 2005, 2007, and 2013) ended in miscarriage. Our family is complete! We are so thankful for our three miracles!
