My church has a prayer list they distribute every Sunday which lists different people to pray for each day of the coming week (missionaries, Sunday School teachers, college students, etc.) and on the back has a few other categories of people to pray for such as those in the military. One of those categories is "expectant mothers." I had been checking the list every week for awhile waiting to see when my name would appear. Well silly me, I didn't know that they don't put the mother's name on there until she requests it (which makes sense!). While we were on vacation one of the church secretaries called and left a message on our answering machine asking if I wanted my name added. So I called back last week and said YES!!! and today I saw my name on the list and it almost brought me to tears. Seemed so official to see my name on that list, LOL.
I also had my first belly pat today. I remember years ago thinking it was kind of weird (almost rude) when I'd see people in say the grocery store who didn't seem to know each other and people seemed to like patting pg bellies. Well this wasn't a stranger, and it felt great. Now if I wasn't pg trust me I wouldn't want people patting my stomach, LOL! She said you look great, and I can see you have a little belly growing. Of course I didn't mind that comment as all as I can't wait until I really look pg. I am not there yet that's for sure, but maybe in another 6 weeks or so it will start to be more obvious by looking at me that there's a baby growing in there!
