We started trying to have children in May 2002. After pursuing fertility treatments, domestic, and international adoption, our daughter Nadia Renee was born on 6-24-08 (at 36w4d). IVF #2 resulted in Ian Alexander, who was born on 12-12-09 (at 34w3d). Oliver Elliot (IVF #3) was born on 8-7-12 (at 31w6d)! Three other pregnancies (in 2005, 2007, and 2013) ended in miscarriage. Our family is complete! We are so thankful for our three miracles!

Naps
This morning I had to work VERY hard to get Ian to take his morning nap. For about 30 minutes I kept running up and popping in his pacifier. Then I nursed him again and put him back down, and then I nursed him a third time and put him back down, and the third time was the charm. He slept for a little over an hour! This was his longest nap in the Nap Nanny in quite awhile. My efforts were rewarded. The main reason I want him to take naps in there is so that I can have one-on-one time with Nadia. He only lasted 15 minutes in his crib for his second nap, but since Nadia was also napping I let him finish that nap on the boppy on my lap.

I'm guilty of shopping online a lot too. I figure it is worth even $5 shipping if it saves me from having to load and unload 3 little ones twice. The downside for me is we have found that we spend less money if we operate on a cash economy, but there's nowhere to insert cash into my laptop so I end up using evil credit cards! : )
