The last few years I have done far more baking than I had ever done before, and I've also tried many more new recipes. Today I made shepherd's pie for the first time. The first time I remember having it was in college in Ohio. I have been trying to think of recipes that don't include pasta because Ian is not a fan of pasta, but unfortunately it was a major battle to get him to eat the shepherd's pie tonight. At least Daddy was home so I didn't have to endure the entire battle by myself. I thought it might be nice to share some of the new recipes (in no particular order) that I tried which have become favorites in our house (for at least some members of our family anyhow). Enjoy!
