A lamb????

March came in like a lion, but it's not going out like a lamb here in central Pennsylvania, unless the saying is referring to the white color of a lamb and the white stuff falling from the sky. We had some snow on Saturday, but it didn't stick. Today at least 3-4 inches accumulated. The good news is that it's supposed to get to 68 degrees on Thursday. Hopefully all this white stuff will melt tomorrow so the kids and I can walk to the playground on Thursday afternoon. I cannot wait for the weather to be warm enough for me to wear short sleeve shorts, capri pants, and sandals. That is my most favorite thing to wear. I keep thinking we are done using the snow pants and snow boots, and we keep dragging them back out again. I hope this was our last snow for many months!

We won't be going to church tomorrow night because there isn't any AWANA, and I can't go to choir rehearsal since Paul teaches until 7:52 pm. The soccer practices for this week have been cancelled because the field would be ruined if practices started this week. Practices normally start the second or third week of March, but the earliest they'll be starting this year is April 6, and the first soccer games (April 11) also have to be rescheduled. Both kids have a practice at 5:30 on Thursday nights, which is very convenient. Paul will take them since he's coaching Ian's team, and I'll stay home with Oliver.

P.S. The pictures below aren't posed. Nadia reads picture books and chapter books throughout the day. I snapped those two while she was reading a couple of picture books. When I was reading A Little Princess she often picked up the book and read part of it aloud if I had to set it down to tend to Oliver. We finished that book this morning and started The Borrowers this afternoon.
