Happy Birthday/Easter!

My birthday has sometimes been very close to Easter (the day before or after Easter), but it took 47 years for my birthday to be on the same day as Easter. I always liked it when my birthday was near Easter when I was a child as that often meant my birthday fell during spring break. April 21 will be Easter again on 2030; if I'm still alive at that point I'll be celebrating my 58th birthday on Easter Sunday. I am in NO rush for the next eleven years to fly by because at that point my youngest will be almost 18 years old. The thought of an empty nest is VERY unappealing to me at the moment. As I was about to walk backstage to join the choir last night, Ian ran up and asked if he could give me a hug first. Oh how I savor those moments.

Since the kids were dressed up and it was nice outside, I took pictures. Ian normally wears glasses, but I was getting an awful glare with his glasses so I took his pictures without glasses on.

He is RISEN!
