Mountain Mover

The song the choir sang today was titled "Mountain Mover," and the lyrics were very encouraging. "My God is a mountain mover. My God's gonna make a way. Can't count all the times He's proven we can trust Him; just have faith. Take a hopeless situation, watch Him turn it all around. Nothing is impossible, I can't hold back I've gotta shout! My God, my God, My God is a mountain mover!" The sermon was along a similar line as the main verse was Philippians 4:13 - "I can do everything through Him who gives me strength." We then looked at various places in Scripture where God did the "impossible" such as leading His people across the Red Sea, etc. I have to tell you when I stepped in the garage this morning I wanted to come back inside my warm home as it was less than 10 degrees outside. BRRR! Spring is in 8 weeks though so I am grateful it won't stay so cold tooo much longer. However I am very glad I went to church as I left very encouraged.

The "mountain" would be ttc again. I plan to call the RE's office this week to find out if I have to do all the testing again so we can start to figure out a timeline. Of course I have some hope it might work in light of Nadia, but I know there's no guarantee. I just have to trust that He is in control and whatever is best for our family is what will come about whether that's no more children, one more baby, or triplets. I know some of my blog readers are also ttc for #2 or #3 and in fact others are in the process of ivf again or will probably be starting it up again soon. I am curious; do any of you struggle with feeling "greedy"? That's probably the wrong word to use, but sometimes I think that we HAVE our miracle in our arms (Nadia) who came after 5 1/2 years and so we should leave well enough alone so to speak. I think part of the reason I feel that way is that some people have made comments to me along those lines that make it obvious they assume we'd never ttc again now that we have a child since it took so much to have her. Of course others make the opposite comment that they think we'll just start popping out babies left and right on our own now, LOL. And some do ask when we will do ivf again so people's comments are really all over the map. I don't know why I struggle with feeling "greedy" for hoping to have a second child as many people have two or more children and probably never feel that way when they think about trying to add another child to their family. Anyhow I just want to keep my eyes on the Lord and trust that He is in control of whether we have another child. I'd love to have an Ian Alexander or another girl, but we shall see if that is His will or not. He moved a mountain once when He brought Nadia into our lives, and He could certainly do it again! Or maybe we are supposed to have a second child, but that child will come through adoption? I am even more fearful of trying adoption again than I am of trying ivf again.

We have our consult on Wed to discuss ttc #2, I must admit I'm not excited to go through it again. Evan turns one on 2/7 But at 35 I don' want to wait. We have 5 frozen embryos and Nadia is my inspiration that it'll be successful. I love the red dress what a sweetheart.

I have really felt guilt over wanting a 3rd and doing fertility. I try to tell myself that other people just decided they want another child and then just do it so why should I be different. Look at the Dugger's. As long as it does not take food from my children then I am ok with doing fertility again.
