Pumpkins and Praises

After feeling rather stressed out and prone to tears the past two days, I am happy to say that today was a really fun day. We went to the same farm we went to last year. We all rode a hayride to a pumpkin patch, picked 6 pumpkins (Paul's parents were with us), and the kids rode ponies and fed goats, rabbits, and a pig. It was much colder than when we went last year, but at least it wasn't raining. Our festivities concluded by having dinner at Bonanza. A fun time was had by all! Can you tell Ian enjoys feeding the goats? He kept saying "YAY!" after he'd feed them a few morsels. He also enjoyed seeing the helicopter (we didn't splurge on taking a ride on that) and tractors.

Another blessing today included Ian taking a 75 minute nap. WOOHOO! It would be sooo awesome if his naps started to average one hour or more. What a big help that would be! Finally, I checked the PSU insurance website for the umpteenth time today, and it showed they paid over $6K on Thursday toward that claim which had previously resulted in us receiving a $4K bill from CHOP. We haven't received the EOB yet, but I'm pretty sure we don't owe CHOP any money. What a relief!!! PTL!!!

I have many more pictures to share from our adventures today, but I should go to bed since I woke up at 4am and couldn't go back to sleep because all I could think about was my meeting with the Dean yesterday and what I was going to do about it. I hope I get 8 hours of sleep tonight. Usually it takes me less than 24 hours to "get over" something so I expect I will sleep soundly tonight.
