Today was a busy day! I had the au gratin potatoes and ham in the oven before we left for church, and I made some yeast rolls when we got back. Millie brought some very tasty desserts, and Paul's mom brought some yummy deviled eggs. Nadia said she wanted to go in the church service with us, which was special. Ever since I started putting Oliver in the nursery, I have been sitting in church by myself. It was so special to sit with Paul and Nadia this morning. Part way through the sermon she whispered and asked me how much longer it was going to last. I asked if she wanted to go to Wee Worship, and she said "yes." She stayed in the service for almost an hour. I was pleased.
We gave Ian his usual lunch when we came home from church and sent him up for a nap when the rest of us were sitting down to have our ham dinner. Oliver was already sleeping. Nadia did a great job eating the meal as she loves cranberry sauce, ham, rolls, etc. I didn't make her eat the creamed corn or green beans. Since there were only eight of us at the table, she got to join us at the dining room table (usually she and Ian eat at the "kids" table when we host a holiday meal). The kids had a blast playing with Pop Pop and Grandma, and they enjoyed their Easter gifts from them (Legos, VeggieTales dvd, and princesses). My only regret was that there were some pictures I was hoping to get that didn't get taken - I was hoping to get a family photo and some pics of myself with the kids (I wear makeup less than 5 times a year and I was wearing some today and was wearing a dress I hadn't worn in years), and I was hoping to get a photo of the three kids together as well as individual ones of each child (only took some of Nadia). I think I'll just need to make an appointment at Sears. I had said months ago that once Oliver was sitting up I'd schedule his next appointment, and that day has come! I'll have lots of chances to take pictures of the kids in their "Easter" clothes. When the weather is warmer and the outside is prettier (greener and more blossoms and flowers), I'll take some photos of them outside. I am not posting all the pictures today. I'll save a few of the ones I took today for later this week.

I know how you feel about not getting the photos you wanted! My camera died on Friday, so I haven't gotten a single pic of Easter weekend-and Seth's first Easter. Bummer!
