We started trying to have children in May 2002. After pursuing fertility treatments, domestic, and international adoption, our daughter Nadia Renee was born on 6-24-08 (at 36w4d). IVF #2 resulted in Ian Alexander, who was born on 12-12-09 (at 34w3d). Oliver Elliot (IVF #3) was born on 8-7-12 (at 31w6d)! Three other pregnancies (in 2005, 2007, and 2013) ended in miscarriage. Our family is complete! We are so thankful for our three miracles!

More Snow
Although most of Saturday's snow had already melted, Paul took Ian out for some fun in the snow while Nadia took a very rare nap yesterday afternoon. It is snowing as I type, and a few inches have already acculumated today. If I took a photo now, it would look a lot different than this photo Paul took yesterday. I hope this is winter's last blast. I'm sooooooooooo ready for spring.
Nadia's first soccer practice was supposed to be today. I am not sure how she's going to have a clue what to do in her first game on April 6 if she doesn't get a few practices in first! One upside of the snow was that Paul came home earlier than usual (due to difficult driving conditions) and so he got to feed Ian his chicken pot pie (lucky him). I appreciate getting a break at least once a week from the duty of feeding Ian something he doesn't want to eat. Tomorrow I'm going to make cornbread and chili. It will be the first time the kids have eaten those. Here's to hoping they'll think it's yummy. Nadia is excited about the cornbread because it has been mentioned both in the Little House as well as the Ramona books we're reading. I wasn't sure we'd be able to continue reading Ramona Quimby, Age 8 that we got from the library on Friday because we couldn't locate it yesterday. After MUCH searching yesterday and again this morning, I finally found it in the cupboard of the play kitchen. Go figure!
