We started trying to have children in May 2002. After pursuing fertility treatments, domestic, and international adoption, our daughter Nadia Renee was born on 6-24-08 (at 36w4d). IVF #2 resulted in Ian Alexander, who was born on 12-12-09 (at 34w3d). Oliver Elliot (IVF #3) was born on 8-7-12 (at 31w6d)! Three other pregnancies (in 2005, 2007, and 2013) ended in miscarriage. Our family is complete! We are so thankful for our three miracles!

Afternoon nap
Well normally on Mondays and Wednesdays I stay at work for 12+ hours, but I didn't have any appointments or meetings this afternoon so I decided to come home for a nap as I was really, really tired. I slept for two hours! I could have slept more, LOL! I also was FREEZING at work. I didn't take my coat off while teaching, and my office was even colder. So I also have changed into a warmer outfit and am bringing a space heater in for my office. I'll be heading back in about 45 minutes. I feel much better after the nap. It was a fun but hectic weekend, and I didn't sleep as much over the weekend as I have been sleeping lately so I think it hit me this morning. There are only TWO more days of teaching in the morning as the semester ends on Friday! I am assuming mornings will be better for me in the spring semester (will be in the 2nd trimester by the time it starts) plus I am teaching in the afternoons in the spring rather than the mornings. So this time of teaching at 8am while pg is almost over. YAHOO! Only 8 more days til we see our little one. I admit sometimes I feel impatient and want more b/w or an u/s before then just to make sure everything is okay, but I keep reminding myself that at least 90% of pgcies are successful after seeing a h/b plus it just means I pray more for our baby which isn't a bad thing! I am happy to also add that I ate a brownie today and didn't get heartburn! So I guess I can eat chocolate now and then and not suffer for doing so. :-)
