We started trying to have children in May 2002. After pursuing fertility treatments, domestic, and international adoption, our daughter Nadia Renee was born on 6-24-08 (at 36w4d). IVF #2 resulted in Ian Alexander, who was born on 12-12-09 (at 34w3d). Oliver Elliot (IVF #3) was born on 8-7-12 (at 31w6d)! Three other pregnancies (in 2005, 2007, and 2013) ended in miscarriage. Our family is complete! We are so thankful for our three miracles!

Crockpots are bad!
What was I thinking to make something in the crockpot today? This was NOT a smart move! Crockpots produce aromas...for HOURS! EEK! And I have been home all day today! My poor tummy... well I think I shall retreat upstairs. Maybe the smell isn't as strong up there. Plus I think I'll try to take a nap as most nights I've been going to bed by 8:30pm, and if I do that tonight I'll miss almost the whole football game. Gotta keep my priorities straight, LOL!

Oh no!!!! that is funny! but makes sense because that smell fills the house up!!!! hope you can escape upstairs!!!
When I was pregnant with my son, I didn't have one minute of morning sickness. However, since I was a teacher, I was quite lucky that my first trimester was during the summer. I went to bed at 8, got up at 9, took a nap at 11, and again at 2 or 3. Thank goodness I didn't have anything to do except hibernate! I hope you get some good hibernation time over Chrismtas vacation, too. Having a baby in the oven is hard work! Ruth, we also started a new blog on blogger. I made it private, so if you want an invitation, then you can e-mail me.
