I have to report that last night I put Nadia down a little before 8pm. Usually I nurse her to sleep, but this time I actually put her down while she was drowsy but not asleep. She cried (whimpered would be a better word) for about 30 minutes. Normally I don't let her cry that long, but since it was a quiet, tired sounding cry (not an "angry" sounding one) I thought she might drift off to sleep on her own. And she did! She then slept until 4:45am (which means she slept 8 hours and 15 minutes straight!) and after nursing for 40 minutes she then slept for three more hours!!! So actually not including the one feeding she was in bed for 12 1/2 hours and she slept for a little over 11 hours! How wonderful!!! This meant that Mommy "slept in" (as compared to when I get up on MWF), got showered, ate breakfast, graded some papers, and had one load of laundry in the dryer and another in the washer all before Nadia woke up! What a great feeling!!! I should add that she wakes up in such a pleasant mood these days. I can tell by her sounds that she's awake although she is not crying. She is usually looking at her mobile. She's really been enjoying that the last few weeks, and then when she sees Mommy's face then she just lights up! Her smiles are soooo beautiful!!!

Good News!
