Dollie & Me

Yesterday Paul's parents came up in the afternoon, and we all went to Friendly's for dinner. It was Nadia's first time having an ice cream sundae. She had a grilled cheese sandwich, fries, and milk for dinner. They also gave her a red balloon. On the way out Grandma bought her this doll (at left) at Sears. Last year I had bought three dresses for Nadia from Sears' Dollie & Me collection. Each dress for Nadia came with a dress to fit this doll. She's wearing one of the dresses in this picture. It will be fun to take pictures of Nadia and her doll wearing the same dresses. :-) Nadia came down this morning and before she ate her own breakfast she went to her kitchen and fed her dollie some peach oatmeal. It will be fun to buy more clothes and things for this doll in the months and years to come. Of course I have two dolls (Nadia and Ian) whom I love to dress as you can see from the pics of Ian wearing a suit to church today. The shirt is size 12 months. In the fifth picture (close up of Ian's face), you can see his two teeth!

Isn't he so handsome! He got up at 5am this morning. That was better than 4:15am (when he got up yesterday), but I'm still hoping for no earlier than 5:30 tomorrow morning. He only had 2 naps on Saturday and Sunday. His first nap today was at 10am in the church nursery. His second nap was at 1pm at home.
