We started trying to have children in May 2002. After pursuing fertility treatments, domestic, and international adoption, our daughter Nadia Renee was born on 6-24-08 (at 36w4d). IVF #2 resulted in Ian Alexander, who was born on 12-12-09 (at 34w3d). Oliver Elliot (IVF #3) was born on 8-7-12 (at 31w6d)! Three other pregnancies (in 2005, 2007, and 2013) ended in miscarriage. Our family is complete! We are so thankful for our three miracles!

A Wonderful Day
Yesterday was a wonderful day because I got to take the kids to the park in the morning (I get exercise and we all have fun), the scales showed that I lost another pound (13 more to go), and we had a wonderful time at Knoebels with Paul's parents. I'd like to say it was a perfect day, but it wasn't because Paul wasn't with us, it was rather hot (although thankfully there is a lot of shade at Knoebels), and my laptop computer screen died on me last night (the computer works but the screen is black). All in all it was a really special day. It was our last blast for the summer and one of the VERY few times I woke both kids up from their naps. They fell asleep on the way there, and I woke them up even though neither had slept that long. I don't think Nadia was upset that I woke her up, lol! I look forward to going back to Knoebels next summer, and hopefully Ian will also enjoy some rides next summer! He went on one train ride yesterday with me. Nadia's three favorite rides yesterday were the balls (she spent the most time there), the Kiddie Whip (has been her favorite ride all summer), and the pillow (big thing you jump around on). I treated myself to pineapple frozen yogurt. I hadn't had any ice cream in a few weeks, and it was tasty!!! I took about 100 pictures. I'll share a few here and probably will share more in the coming days. Enjoy!
