This was day #2 of sleep training for Ian (in terms of learning to take a nap in his crib). We weren't home yesterday. He screamed for 40 minutes and then slept for 30 minutes. He never went back to sleep after that. I didn't want to get him while he was screaming (for fear that he'd think that if I keep crying Mommy will come get me). Thankfully after he had been crying for about 40 minutes he was just standing in the crib (not crying). I chose that moment to go get him. Day #1 of sleep training (Wednesday) definitely went better in terms of the amount of time he slept in his crib. It's really hard to listen to him scream for that length of time, although it is much easier to get housework done with both children in their beds. Hopefully day #3 (tomorrow) will go better for Ian.
Yesterday the latest blog book arrived. It's beautiful. I got this one from Blog2Print. I have to say the quality of the pages is only a tiny bit better than the other books I ordered from another site. The quality of the cover is a million times nicer. If money were no object, I'd definitely buy future ones from Blog2Print. It cost 4 times more than the other site though, and if you consider that other site actually sent me 2 copies of each book (although I only paid for 1 of each), Blog2Print was actually 8 times as expensive. Probably I'll end up going the cheaper route in the future. It's just not worth THAT much money to have a beautiful cover. If the difference in cost wasn't so great, I'd pay a little more for the nicer book.
