Once a year I like to post a list of some of the kids' favorite books. I wrote a list in
October 2010 and
September 2011,
May 2012 and
November 2013. I have to say reading to the kids is one of my most favorite parts of the day. I am so thrilled that they enjoy it just as much as I do. One big change from November 2013 to the present is that Oliver now LOVES books just as much as his siblings. Naturally he doesn't pay attention to the chapter books I read to the other two, but he does love picture books! His most favorite book is definitely the
Three Little Pigs. This morning while I was putting away groceries, Nadia told her brothers that she'd read to them. That was one of the books she read, and I had to get a picture to remember that precious moment. This list was hard to make because although we have quite an extensive collection of picture books at home (one bookshelf in each of the three kids' bedrooms plus another in the living room), we get new ones from the library each week. Here are some of the favorites, many of which have shown up on previous lists!
