Another good night!

Nadia went to sleep at 8:30pm and didn't wake up for 4.5 hours! I nursed her from 1-2am, 4-4:45am, and 5:45-6:15am. I got up at 7:00am so that I could eat breakfast, shower, and get ready for church while she was still sleeping. She woke up around 8:00am. This means over a period of 11.5 hours Mommy got 8 1/4 hours of sleep and Nadia got 9 1/4 hours! How wonderful is that! I have to add that she never cried when I put her down any of those times either. :-) Now if she could just learn to nap somewhere besides on Mommy during the day! The sling only works if I am standing or walking and the car seat doesn't work At All. My mom is going to buy a sleep positioner at Target and bring that up on Friday so maybe that will help? I love snuggling with the gal but she needs to take at least some naps in either her pack n play or crib!

I was wishing our home was closer to church today as she screamed almost the whole 25 minute ride home. Stopping for gas and also going through the drive-thru at Dunkin Donuts for lunch did not help. I had nursed her for about 15-20 minutes at church before we left and that was not enough!!! She did great during church though. The violin solo was much nicer than the trumpet solo last week. :-) Hopefully she'll like the solo next week because it will be played by her Mommy (flute).
I think she looks downright adorable in her new dress today (from her Great Aunt Debbie). I am hoping that the 3 of us will go to Sears on Thursday for her first professional baby pictures, and I don't know which dress to have her wear - the one she wore last Sunday (white with bright pink flowers) or this one that she wore today (purple with brown polka dots). I would appreciate your input!!!

I love both dresses. Why not have it done in both dresses and then pick your favorite (or do like me and not be able to pick and buy it all)? Have you tried to get her to sleep in a bouncy seat on vibrate or in a swing during the day? That is how I got my little girl to sleep.

I like the pink and white one best. but both are cute.
I agree about the bouncy or swing! I couldn't have lived with out them...great for naps or just being able to throw a load of laundry in!

Cute photos, especially the first one with her eyes open.

Personally, I'd have her professional photo taken in the purple dress with the polka dots. I think it would look better on camera, plus I'm sure Sears will do close-ups, and the purple dress would look better for close-ups. Just my opinion.

We get Kylie & Sophie's photos done at Sears and have been pleased. One word of caution...they will try to sell you a $300 portrait package. You can download coupons from the Sears webpage.

I vote for the purple dress too :-) I think the other one is a bit too "loud" and might distract the viewer from the main attraction (meaning her cute face :-))
by the way, in this last picture she looks more like Paul, I think!
