Last night the first stretch was only 4 hours, but then she went back down easily and surprised me by sleeping 3 hours the next stretch (after I just said yesterday that stretch is always 2 hours, LOL). It was a very long day at work - including driving time it was almost 10 hours. She was very good for the babysitter today. Yay! I had packed an extra onesie and dress in case she got poop on this one. I forgot to pack socks and that is the ONE article of clothing that she did get poop on, LOL. So now I know to also pack an extra pair of socks. So many lessons to learn as a Mommy! I am pooped as during all the meetings I was standing to keep Nadia content or keep her asleep as the case may be so I was standing (and bouncing most of the time) for 3 1/2 hours of meetings in addition to standing while teaching for 3 hours so my feet are sore! Paul is trying to put her to bed right now. Hopefully he will succeed as I am ready to crash myself. I am soooo glad tomorrrow is Saturday!!!!
We started trying to have children in May 2002. After pursuing fertility treatments, domestic, and international adoption, our daughter Nadia Renee was born on 6-24-08 (at 36w4d). IVF #2 resulted in Ian Alexander, who was born on 12-12-09 (at 34w3d). Oliver Elliot (IVF #3) was born on 8-7-12 (at 31w6d)! Three other pregnancies (in 2005, 2007, and 2013) ended in miscarriage. Our family is complete! We are so thankful for our three miracles!
