We started trying to have children in May 2002. After pursuing fertility treatments, domestic, and international adoption, our daughter Nadia Renee was born on 6-24-08 (at 36w4d). IVF #2 resulted in Ian Alexander, who was born on 12-12-09 (at 34w3d). Oliver Elliot (IVF #3) was born on 8-7-12 (at 31w6d)! Three other pregnancies (in 2005, 2007, and 2013) ended in miscarriage. Our family is complete! We are so thankful for our three miracles!

Improving
After 6 hours of no success, he did have a good nursing session at 9pm. The 12am feeding went even better - no screaming and it was on the right side (left is his favorite, which was also true with Nadia). The 3am feeding started out disastrous, but by squirting some EBM in his mouth with a syringe, we found success. Whew... I am feeling a lot more hopeful that through frequent pumping, drinking lots of water, and one more day of Fenugreek (the dosage is 3 capsules 3 times a day for 3 days so I've had 18 capsules so far) we can get things back on track over the next 3 days. Nadia will have fun at Sarah's tommorrow, and I am looking forward to being able to put 100% of my attention on nursing Ian. I still haven't decided if we'll also work on getting off the shield this weekend. I'd like to, but I would rather nurse with the shield than not nurse at all so I am not sure if that is a good idea right now or not.
