Through an email from a friend of mine this past weekend, I learned that the women at the church I was a member of from 2004-2008 are doing a study on Revelation by my favorite Bible study author, Beth Moore. I have really missed being a part of a ladies Bible study group. I attended a couple of times after we moved to our current home (fall 2008), but that was the last time that I attended a ladies small group Bible study. The church where I have been going for the past year did have one last semester, but it was on a night when I was teaching. Ironically, I also found out this past weekend that my church will be starting a ladies Bible study (by Max Lucado) on Thursday nights starting February 11. I missed the first week of the Revelation study, but even if I had known about it, I wouldn't have been able to make it last week since I was in the hospital on Tuesday morning. Since Nadia no longer takes a morning nap, I have decided to go to the Revelation study at least for the next 3 Tuesdays starting today. I am not sure if I'll continue once I go back to school since I teach on Tuesday nights. I have also decided to give the 3:16 study a try starting Feb. 11. I plan to take Ian with me to both studies, put Nadia in the nursery during the Tuesday morning study, and leave Nadia at home with Paul for the Thursday night study since I'll leave for that one 15 minutes before her bedtime.
We started trying to have children in May 2002. After pursuing fertility treatments, domestic, and international adoption, our daughter Nadia Renee was born on 6-24-08 (at 36w4d). IVF #2 resulted in Ian Alexander, who was born on 12-12-09 (at 34w3d). Oliver Elliot (IVF #3) was born on 8-7-12 (at 31w6d)! Three other pregnancies (in 2005, 2007, and 2013) ended in miscarriage. Our family is complete! We are so thankful for our three miracles!

Did you decide not to get the nap nanny? I am thankful it is working for us but now we will need another one. I don't know how you get any sleep with him on your chest. I hope you find something that works.
