I can't believe I forgot to mention it in yesterday's post, but I heard Nadia laugh for the first time yesterday afternoon! Of course it was NOT purposeful (she was sleeping), but it was such a sweet sound and such a sweet expression on her face! I can't wait until she smiles and laughs purposefully, but until then I will enjoy these!!! If only I had been videotaping her while it happened so I could share it with you all! :-)Yesterday evening my friend, Cheri, her husband, Eric, and grandniece, Bianca, stopped over to meet Nadia. Bianca kept saying what a cutie Nadia is; of course I agree! :-)
We are now on a good roll as far as sleeping at night! Although the longest stretch was 3.5 hours, over a period of 11.25 hours I got 8.75 hours of sleep! That's the most I've gotten in one night in the last month!!! Naps aside from on Mommy are atill a struggle. I've tried the bouncer, and she'll stay in it for a few moments on vibrate, but that's it so far. I don't own a swing. If I knew she'd like it I'd buy one, but I'm having a hard time deciding given how $$ they are.

My swing changed my life! Jonah wouldn't sleep unless he was in it (including at night!!)...I would definitely recommend getting one and trying her in it...you could always return it if she doesn't like it, couldn't you? If she does like it, however, it will change your life lol!!!
I have a swing you could borrow. I received two hand-me-down swings (one from my sis-in-law and one from a friend) when Michael was born so I had one downstairs and one upstairs in the office so he could hang out there while I worked. Well now the office has become Melanie's room so I'm not using that one anymore. It's just sitting in our attic. It's an older version so not quite as cool as a new one with all the bells and whistles (and I think it only goes front/back not side to side)but it would at least work to see if she likes it.
