Winter Wonderland!

We got about 5 inches of snow so this was our most significant snowfall so far this winter. I put Nadia's hand in it, but that's about it as far as her "playing" in the snow. It will be a lot more fun for her a year from now. I can't wait to build our first snowman together!!!

Yesterday Nadia's last nap ended at 3:30, and she wouldn't take another one around 5:00 so this meant she fell asleep in my arms at 6:10. So she went to bed earlier than I'd like her to. Then she woke up at 9:30. I let her cry and she fell asleep within less than 5 minutes. Then she woke up again around midnight, and this time I decided to feed her although it was earlier than she had been nursing lately. Since I had pumped before I went to bed, I didn't have enough milk for her (especially since lately she hadn't been nursing until 4am or later). So I ended up giving her two ounces of pumped milk in a bottle, and she fell back asleep and slept until 6am. So it was still a one feeding night although the feeding was earlier. One plus of her sleeping on her belly is that tummy time goes a lot better these days.

Yesterday and today Nadia has eaten a container (3.5 ounces) of sweet potatoes! YAY! Of course now this means her clothes are not staying quite as clean as they usually do. :-) I am going to try rice cereal again tomorrow now that she is doing so much better with eating solids although by no means has she mastered how to use her tongue for solids yet.

Crazy weather today. It made for really heavy shoveling. One day my back will recover. Congrats to Paul! 4.0...wow!

You got a lot of snow! We don't have any...yet.

I too hate driving in any kind of snow, sleet or ice.
