Finally got our refund

Well of the $8,200 we paid for IVF in June, we got $1,098 back this week. I had been checking my credit card daily online and was planning to call the hospital today as I wanted the credit to go through before we paid the $2,250 for the FET. The hospital put the credit through on Tuesday (9/11), and it finally showed up online today. I felt like they were holding my $$ hostage as the last part of the IVF process was freezing the embryo on August 7. So I think including meds we paid about $7, 250 for the IVF. Of course had it worked I would gladly have paid far more than that, but it's a bitter pill to swallow to pay that much and have nothing to show for it thus far. We do have that one frozen blastocyst though so who knows. Maybe in the end we'll pay about $8,800 for the fresh IVF + FET and hopefully have one precious baby to show for it.
