We started trying to have children in May 2002. After pursuing fertility treatments, domestic, and international adoption, our daughter Nadia Renee was born on 6-24-08 (at 36w4d). IVF #2 resulted in Ian Alexander, who was born on 12-12-09 (at 34w3d). Oliver Elliot (IVF #3) was born on 8-7-12 (at 31w6d)! Three other pregnancies (in 2005, 2007, and 2013) ended in miscarriage. Our family is complete! We are so thankful for our three miracles!

Good night's sleep!
I was exhausted yesterday. It was a long week. I had Tuesday off, but Thursday was a very long day as I drove for 4 1/2 hours (RT) for meetings. It was a 10 hour work day which was tough because Mon and Wed are always 12 hour work days but actually they were a bit longer than usual with a trip to the RE for b/w thrown in prior to my work day. Fridays vary; sometimes they are just a half-day, but this week it was again a full-day (10 hours). The good news is the worst is over! This coming week I'm only working 1 1/2 days due to Thanksgiving and I don't think I'll have any other really long work weeks between now and when the semester ends. Anyhow I could barely keep my eyes open last night at 6pm. I managed to stay up until 7pm, but then I went to bed for the night hoping for at least 10 hours of sleep. Well I got it! I slept soundly for 9 hours (til 4am) and then stayed in bed for 2 more hours and did get some sleep in there although I was waking up about every 10 minutes. But still I was at least resting in bed for 11 hours, and I'd estimate I slept for close to 10 of those. Sleep does a body good!!!
